Allison Turner is an account executive with Katz & Associates, Inc., in San Diego. She specializes in Superfund community relations, risk communication, and developing and implementing public involvement and information programs.

Allison specializes in involving the public in environmental policy decisions. Her primary account involves community relations in support of the environmental cleanup program under way at Hunters Point Shipyard in San Francisco. This project is being conducted for the Navy's Southwest Division in San Diego.

Allison joined the team at Katz & Associates with rigorous training in environmental science, economics, law and public policy, as well as nine years of management and customer relations experience in the private sector. Experience and training in several disciplines allows Allison to understand the complexities of environmental issues as well as "speak the language" of all involved stakeholders.

Allison has a Master of Environmental Science and Management degree from the Bren School at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in social science, with an emphasis in environment, from San Diego State University. She has also served as a land use and environmental policy intern for a local elected official.
