Karen Linehan is a director with Katz & Associates in San Diego. She specializes in Superfund community relations, construction relations, community analysis, stakeholder identification, tribal involvement, and developing and implementing public involvement and information dissemination programs.

Karen's primary account involves community relations in support of the environmental cleanup program under way at Moffett Federal Airfield in Mountain View, California. This project is being conducted for the Navy's Southwest Division in San Diego.

Karen also supports a variety of public involvement programs under the National Environmental Policy Act and the California Environmental Quality Act.

Karen has experience in providing full service community involvement and public information programs for local, state and federal agencies. She is skilled in coordinating community meetings and advisory boards, creating informational materials and developing successful regulatory relations.

Karen earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in anthropology from San Diego State University. She has used this degree as an archaeologist and in understanding the cultural aspects of working with communities. Karen has also worked to involve Native American tribes on the West Coast and Great Plains on local and nationally recognized projects.
